Affiliate Event: Bus wins ticket to Sturgis at Rod 'n Custom Show

IThe 2nd annual Rod 'n Custom Show, held at the HungExpo exhibition center in Budapest, Hungary, took place over the weekend of May 3-4 and is the latest in the series of events affiliated to the Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building.

Thunderbike of Germany scoops second European Championship in three years

Andreas Bergerforth and the team at Thunderbike (of Hamminkeln in Germany) can now add their names to the list of those who have proven their championship grade credentials on multiple occasions, having backed up their 2006 European Championship win with this year's title.

Affiliate Event: Territorio Motero wins Llunatica Benicassim show

Territorio Motero will be travelling to Sturgis as Spain's 2008 Champion to compete in the Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building, after winning the Best in Show award at the Llunatica Benicassim show.

Their heavily-modified 1987 Suzuki Savage "Friki" featured a hand-made front end, gas tank, handlebars, seat and copper-plated wheels.

Affiliate Event: Odyssey Motorcycles wins at Bike Expo

BERTRAND Dubet of Odyssey Motorcycles, France, had a double victory at the weekend as he began the European custom bike show season with two separate show wins at Bike Expo in Padua, Italy.

Bike Expo, which hosts the Italian affiliate round of the World Championship of Custom Bike Building, also played host to two custom bike shows sponsored by Italian bike magazines Freeway Italia and Bikers Life.
