Additional Info | The original motorbike was a Kawasaki Z 1000 ST, finally we just kept the frame and the front wheel. The design of the bike was inspired by an old Cadillac, the position of the oil cooler also determined the design of the bodywork. The big work on this bike was to create the aluminium head fork, the steel fuel tank and the aluminium humped seat. All these parts are handmade; we also welded the aluminium ones. Actually, many parts of the Z are homemade. The second big work was on the engine. We completely rebuilt it, with a 1166 cc Wiseco kit, we also worked on the cylinder head with fatter valves, racing camshaft Kerker exhaust, Mikuni carburetor. The other big challenge on this bike was the paint, we want to bring the initial of worshop "SLCDR" on the sides of the bike. But we want to see it not at first wiew, you must observe the bike a few moments to see it. It's the most crazy paint we ever did. |
