Additional Info | Handmade exhaust pipes 2-2 shotgun rear pipe, small fishtail mufflers welded on, chrome plated. Linkert M88 carburator, modified. Closed aluminum primary housing(shovelhead), chain drive, hydraulic clutch, starter motor. Panhead oiltank(chopped down top) contains all electric components incl. battery. Oil tank build in rightside gastank. 5-gallon modified gastank. Handmade rearfender, no frontfender. 32 AH Alternator, electric startermotor, Morris magneto, original generator housing used with build-in rectifier, partly used for crank vent chamber. Frame is build-up from ground with re-used original frame castings and fittings. Engine is build with stock 1941 rightside case combined with 1980 Shovelhead leftside case. Crankshaft is stock 1941 U-model modified to fit late model schovelhead sprocketshaft. Rear cylinder is stock 1941 U-model, front cylinder is modified 1936 VL-model. Flathead Power aluminium cylinderheads with modified combustion chambers. (compression ratio 9 1/2 : 1) Bedford truck valves, Volvo B21 pistons, Jim's power-glide hydraulic tappets, Super-Cycles highvolume oilpump. |
