Additional Info | The engine is a 1966 Harley Shovelhead(First year). The trans. is a Harley 4 speed. Of course all has been rebuilt like new and detailed and polished. It runs a Distributor style ignition for easy cranking. It cranks on the first kick! The frame is an original 48 Panhead frame with a 4"under wide glide front fork. I tried to use mostly all original Harley parts. There are way too many details to list. The Handlebars are made by me and the grips have a marble effect to them. They are made out of bowling ball material. The risers are 1 set out of 50 made by Mark Vanderkquak in the Netherlands. The headlight is a 1938 Chevrolet lense with a homemade aluminum housing. The front wheel is a 23". I found a 23" 36 spoke rim and made a 36 spoke spool hub and had Buchanan make special stainless steel spokes for it. The gas tank is a Harley hummer using a military style ignition switch. There is a long story behind it. This bike turned out great and runs and rides super. Hank |
