Llunatica Spain, 2-5 February 2012

This year's Llunatica rally was held at a new location, the holiday resort of Marina d'Or in Oropesa del Mar, southern Spain, and attracted 45 builders who entered bikes in the AMD World Championship programme affiliated custom competition.

This is the fifth year that the event has been affiliated, and in the past it has produced two World Champions - Ferry Clot of Hot Dreams was Modified Harley-Davidson World Champion in 2007 and 2009, and Sergio Bayarri of Sbay Motor Co was Production Manufacturer World Champion in 2010.

This year's representative in Sturgis will be Germán Cornaglia of Spanish custom shop Derbidson, who won the Freestyle class and Best in Show with his bike "The Diavolo".

Based around a Kawasaki ZZR 600cc engine, the rest of the bike is almost entirely handcrafted and features front and rear mono swingarms, with camshaft steering to transmit movement to the front wheel through an oscillating lever double handlebar setup.

Runner-up and winner of the Modified Harley-Davidson class was Manuel Ramón with his bagger "Dark Jokester" and in third place was Metric class winner Dogma Motorcycles with "Sound Kiss".
